We host a limited number of weddings each year, welcoming couples who are drawn to the character, privacy and warmth of a family-run estate.
Set within landscaped parkland in the Yorkshire Wolds, Everingham Park offers a distinctive setting for ceremonies and receptions — shaped around each couple rather than following a fixed formula.
The Chapel
Ceremonies and blessings may take place in the Chapel of St Mary and St Everilda, a remarkable Grade I listed Romanesque chapel at the heart of the estate.
Its richly decorated interior, Corinthian columns and vaulted ceiling create an atmosphere that often surprises guests encountering it for the first time.
The chapel may host religious or non-religious ceremonies, and we are happy to recommend experienced celebrants.
Everingham Park is registered with East Riding of Yorkshire Council as a licensed venue for civil ceremonies.
The Barns
Receptions are held in the Oak Barn and Big Barn overlooking the lake.
Together, the barns provide flexibility while retaining the atmosphere of a rural estate.
The Oak Barn
Oak-beamed and filled with natural light from large picture windows, the Oak Barn provides an intimate setting for smaller celebrations of up to 60 guests.
The Big Barn
Linked to the Oak Barn, the Big Barn can accommodate larger receptions of up to 120 guests. It may be left in its natural brick and timber character or tailored with draping and styling to suit your vision.
A Personal Approach
Everingham Park is not a high-volume venue. Each wedding is personally overseen, allowing flexibility in layout, catering and design.
Couples are welcome to work with our trusted local suppliers, or to bring their own team by arrangement. The aim is simple: to create a celebration that feels natural within the setting of the estate.

Midweek weddings (Monday–Wednesday): £4,000 + VAT

(Registrar fees are payable directly to East Riding Register Office.)

A spacious apartment within the Hall is available by separate arrangement for the wedding party. Additional accommodation can be found nearby in the surrounding villages and countryside.

We work with a small number of trusted local caterers, celebrants, florists and entertainment providers. A full list is available upon enquiry.

Events conclude at midnight (bar closure 11:30pm)
Access for set-up the day before and clearance the day after
Guests are responsible for supervision near the lake
